MARK WAHLBERG has revealed the couple have finally set a date and will officially tie the knot next August.

The couple started dating in 2001 and have three children, five-year-old ELLARAE, MICHAEL, two, and newborn BRENDAN JOSEPH.

The proud parents have also decided that their current £9 million Beverly Hills home is too small and are said to have bought a twice-as-costly LA mansion to make room for their growing brood.

The Hollywood hunk spilled the beans at the US premiere of his new film Max Payne, based on the video games, in which he plays a secret agent out to avenge the deaths of his family.

Max Payne hits screens in the UK on November 14.
