A court sentenced musician Kid Rock to 12 months probation and six hours of anger management counseling for his involvement in a post-concert fight at a restaurant near Atlanta last year.
Rock, who was born Robert J. Ritchie, was also sentenced Monday to 80 hours of community service and fined $1,000, according to the Atlanta Journal-Constitution's website.
The entertainer pleaded no contest to one count of simple battery at a court in DeKalb county in Georgia.
Four other counts of battery were dropped over the incident in which he allegedly punched and kicked a customer in October at a restaurant in DeKalb county, east of Atlanta.
That month, Rock's album Rock N Roll Jesus debuted at No. 1, a first for the Michigan-born musician.
In May, Rock's album was certified platinum, according to the artist's website.
